We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, farm name, phone number, and farm operational data (milk production records, livestock information, sales data, expense records, and team member details). We also collect usage data automatically, including page views, feature interactions, and device information for performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your farm data is used solely to provide and improve the DairyPro service. This includes: displaying your dashboard and reports, generating insights and analytics for your farm, processing payments and M-Pesa integrations, supporting team collaboration features, and communicating service updates. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all farm data you enter into DairyPro. You can export your data at any time in CSV format. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

4. Data Security

We encrypt all data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We support two-factor authentication (TOTP, email, and SMS) to protect your account. Our infrastructure undergoes regular security audits. Access to production data is strictly limited to essential operations personnel.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used and improve it. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings or via our Cookie Settings page.

6. Third-Party Services

DairyPro integrates with M-Pesa for payment processing and may use cloud infrastructure providers for hosting. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only as instructed by DairyPro.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@dairypro.io. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email and in-app notification. Continued use of DairyPro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
